  It's a shame that the customer service is so bad here, because the vegan menu is extensive and seemed like a great option for dinner...
  Felt unwelcome when coming into the restaurant and atmosphere is very average. Not a lot of seating. Wouldn't recommend coming here for a nice dinner or anything special.
  The price is also very high for the quality/quantity of the food. The burger i ordered without fries or a drink was about $15, quite small and lukewarm.
  If the management put a bit more effort into the presentation, prices and customer service i think this place would be great. But until then, unfortunately I won't be returning.

  This one star actually represents a negative star. Zero to minus 1 star. Epic fail!
  NEVER EVER in my life have I encountered such disgraceful service.
  If the health department doesn't shut them down, safe work should.
  
  I witnessed first hand how they treat staff and surrounding community members. How they even manage to get return customers is beyond comprehension.
  
  The lack lustre food is for the morbidly obese.... Check out the wait times in other reviews.... So I'm not the only one!
  
  Some advice to the owners: If you cannot handle the heat, get out of the kitchen! So many better choices of places to eat on the Parade.
  
  If you like bitter hard faced service with ungrateful staff, long wait times and poor value for money, then by all mean give them a go!

  This place has one of the best and most expansive vegan menus in adelaide. They're constantly updating and adding to their savoury and sweet offerings. The owners are lovely and have always been generous. The few times an ingredient was missing or a reservation was messed up they made up for it wonderfully.

  I love sugar shack. It's a small and busy place so be prepared for long waiting times. The food is ALWAYS SO GOOD and filling. Never had a bad experience with their staff. If they accidentally run out of ingredients they offer free shakes or starters to make up for it.

  Absolutely delicious! Amazing vegan options! (coming from a non vegan) my favorite is the southern fried tofu salad. Reading the other reviews I have to agree the service does have some bumps that could be ironed out but they make up for it with delicious food
